Our workshops and courses take place in our upstairs craft room at our shop, 20-22 Queen Street, in Amble by the Sea NE65 0BZ, on the award-winning Northumberland coast.

Course numbers depend on the tutor and how much space each participant will need. Please note that tutors may cancel if there are insufficient deposits paid by the deadline for the workshop to be financially viable to run, in which case, refunds will be given less an admin fee. However, if you cancel your place on a workshop, we will readvertise to fill your place, and if successful, you will receive all the money you've paid less an admin fee. If we cannot fill the place you will be refunded the money paid less your deposit ( you may be able to transfer this to another workshop at our discretion).

Please be considerate of other course participants by ensuring you allow sufficient time to park and settle in for your course for it to start without delay. Parking outside the shop or on Queen Street is only for up to one hour, unless you display a disabled badge. Free parking is available on adjacent streets or town car parks. Courses do occasionally over-run! Remember to allow time to browse as workshop attendees get a 10% discount in the shop on the day.

We would ask that course participants hang coats on the rack outside the teaching room, have a good standard of personal hygiene, and do not attend class if they are unwell or carrying germs (including coughs and colds that will spread to others).

Please browse and book our current workshops either online or in person at the shop. It is best just to pay the deposit to book, and to pay the balance on the day. We encourage cash payment for workshops as far as possible, to save the tutor being charged interest on card payments. You do not need to book for Craft and Chatter, these are drop in sessions. Just arrive on the day and pay the fee upon entry.
