Crochet For Beginners-Mug Cosy Workshop

Thursday 29th October  10.30am – 12.30pm £30 inc materials (deposit £5 by 26.10.26)

Spend a relaxed morning with Lorraine learning how to crochet from scratch. You will be learning double crochet, which is the basic crochet stitch.

Yarn is provided and refreshments will be available throughout the session, as you are gently guided along to produce a cheery mug cosy. Embellish it with a choice of heart of flower (pre-made by Lorraine).

You will need a 6 mm hook and a wool needle, available from the shop on the day, with a discount.

You will be working in chunky yarn and will learn:

· How to hold your hook

· How to form a slip knot and foundation chain

· Basic stitches

· Turning rows and weaving in loose ends.

No previous experience required.

Max 6 students per course, min 3.
