Foxes and Squirrels on Stone Cotton Fabric
Part of the Old Quercus range by Lewis and Irene
Pairs of mirrored ginger foxes and squirrels amongst foliage, acorns, roses and hips on a pale green stone coloured ground
Quercus is the Latin name for the genus that encompasses the diverse family of oak trees, renowned for their strength and longevity. The name Quercus serves as a nod to the historical and botanical significance of this majestic tree species and especially to our own special ‘Quercus Robur’ – the magnificent old English oak tree.
The ‘Old Quercus’ fabric collection includes some of the natural diversity that lives in harmony with the oak trees. Owls, foxes, squirrels, and acorns all feature in the designs with a fabulous double edge border panel. The colours mirror the changing hues of Autumn, a season where oaks leaves change, and evoke the nostalgic ambiance of an Autumnal woodland walk.
