Improvers Knitting – Summer Scarflette Workshop

10.15 to 12.30pm on Friday 10th July 2026 £30

Join Liz for an informal Knitting session, where Improvers will learn to create this lightweight picot-edged summer scaflette, using a beautiful on-trend soft and fluffy ombre yarn.

Suitable for Novice Knitter category in Warkworth Show !

Your workshop will include:

· Two patterns

· Picot cast on and cast off

· Eyelet lace stitch, and shaping

· Discussion on how to adjust the dimensions

You will need a 5.5mm circular needle of at least 60cm and a pair of 4.5mm knitting pins.

We will supply sufficient yarn for the project and to practise with.

Please select your colour of Shhh yarn when booking and state whether left or right handed.

Start on the day, finish at home, or you can attend our regular Craft and Chatter sessions for further support, on the 3rd Thursday afternoon monthly.

10% off at APC and Gracy’s on the day.

Some basic knitting experience is required.

Tuition takes place in our upstairs craft room.

Tea and coffee are provided but please bring a packed lunch or purchase locally.

To secure you place please pay £10 deposit by Wednesday 8th July 26.
Balance is payable on the day of the course.
